BEYOND THE DOOR

An engaging cultural exhibition displaying a variety of antique Najdi doors, shedding light to the innovation and resourcefulness of traditional craftsmen, by highlighting their use of local natural resources  to build functional and ornately decorated doors, with culturally distinct design motifs. Additionally, the exhibition showcased a number of contemporary artworks by local artists who are inspired by the Najd region, seamlessly weaving a common thread that binds the exhibition and the artworks together.
